Full Slate Roof Refurbishment

We gave this roof a new lease of life by carefully removing and reusing the existing slate tiles while renewing the materials beneath them. The old, rotten battens were removed and replaced with new roofing felt and treated timber battens, providing a sound base for the slates to be refitted.
New ridge tiles and lead flashing completed the refurbishment, improving protection against the weather while preserving the roof’s traditional character.
